the only stipulation is that you CANNOT wear eyeglasses. the scope adjusts for myopic eyesight, so if you are mildly nearsighted, it will not adversely affect your ability to see the target.

20/20 vision is a must.
Take a look at a photograph of any sharp shooter, Wild Bill Hickok, Annie Oakley etc., and you don't see them wearing glasses. |

Your eye sight needs to be correctable to 20/40 I believe.....but I know you don't have to have perfect sight just correctable to a certain %. Good Luck Bro! |

No, you adjust the gun sight to compensate for your eyesight, but it's better if you don't have to wear glasses. |

it helps but your scope does most of the work. the bigger issue is a steady hand and good aim. |

If you have your eyes corrected with laser surgery then you will have perfect eye sight (or as close to it as possible) and it shouldn't be a problem |

You don't have to have 'perfect' eyesight to be a sniper - but you do have to be a great shot and know survival techniques.
It's a very lonely life , and unless you're rather special, a short one. |

I don't think you need perfect vision (I may be mistaken), but you do need to be an exceptional soldier. You'll need to prove yourself before they'll put you on a sniper cadre. Good luck with it all. |
