You're right, it's not about our freedom, it's about their freedom and our security. |

Iraq has "nothing" to do with my freedom or lack of freedom. I was told those lies back in 1969. (During the Vietnam war) "If we lose the Vietnam war the USA will be destroyed". By the way....We lost Vietnam and I'm still waiting for he Communist to come here in my town and kill me. These other lies I heard during the era of Vietnam. "Vietnam will fight forever to get freedom"......"North Vietnam and China hates the USA because the USA has freedom. Russia will be a threat to the USA forever so we must beat them in Vietnam." Well, we lost Vietnam on 30th April 75 and the USA is still here. So don't believe Mr Bush and his war supporters. |

Yes. Do you remember 9/11? Which do you prefer: to be ruled by Clinton or Bush, or to be ruled by the Iranians, Iraqs, Koreans, Chinese? THAT IS WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO. Make up your mind; there isn't much time left. |

Yes, because when he says, "Our freedom", he is referring to himself and his buddies up in the woods of the Bohemian Grove. It is a freedom for THEM from a democracy they CLAIM to stand by, so that the weak will fall for their leadership, but all the while they laugh up in those woods as they rule by their OWN democracy. It's a democracy that does not adhere to the phrase, 'United We Stand, Divided We Fall', but rather embraces the maxim known as 'Divide and Conquer' or 'Divide and Rule'.
If you are referring to yours and my freedom as well as every other American citizen, heck no, I don't believe him! If I was to fall for anything in this life, without first questioning EVERYTHING, I'll just settle for the idea that dogs really do live in the sea!
P.S. By the way, Greendonkey34, I like your hat and I like
your style! |

Yep.... I don't wish to learn Arabic and bow down to Mecca 5 times a day, which could very well happen if we ignore events that have taken place on our soil as well as the lunatic ravings from the leaders of certain Muslim nations. |

When the Iraq war started No. But today yes, if we cut and run as many are calling for us to do the terrorist which we are now fighting will see it as a victory. If you think we had it bad on 9/11 you wait and see what they will do next if we back down and say you win. |

GW Bush is the ultimate politician of our time, never meke the mistake of assuming this moron to be a man, oops sorry, this man to be a moron, for he's not; he's managed to sway half the country to support his greed. Some one else quotes it better:
Politics is the art of making your selfish desires seem like the national interest.
-Thomas Sowell
Our Freedom , the very same concept he's apparently trying to protect, also happens to be the same thing he's taking away from us, his blatant abuses of our constitution for example, he's presuming the Constitution is there to serve his needs, at this point may i quote again:
The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government ā lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.ā ā Patrick Henry
But to even question it is nowadays deemed treasonable and unpatriotic, In the U S of A no less.
So what do we do:
But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.Thomas Jefferson.
Maybe Jefferson was on to something here. The thing is throughout history we've seen that those who do not learn from history, inevitable commits the same mistakes from the past, how many civilization have we seen fall and crumble, yrt don't be surprised to hear a portion of our population suggest that our fore fathers lived in a different time and that their quotations are of no use to us now, blatant ignorance is what it is.......... |

Of course it is not about our freedom. I'm not even sure it is about the Iraqi's freedom anymore. |

Bush is really doing some silly things, and I'm glad we're almost rid of him, but I do believe that there are terrorist groups that hate America. And no, I don't think 9/11 was planned by the US Government. |
|

Gordon Freeman
 |
Not at all. First, he blamed 9/11 on Iraqi terrorists, while we knew all along that Iraq was not a major Al-Qaeda resource. Then, when that story failed, he started saying that Iraq had WMDs. We still have yet to find any. |

OH you silly little socialists. How many time must you ask these questions? |
|

wolf
|
Of course.
It is all about "our freedom".
What country are you from? |
|

draftmedown

He is just blaming it more on the terrorists now so he has a way to keep us there!!! He did what he wanted to do and now cannot figure a way to get out without leaving the country tore apart like he did it!! |
|

Ron Jeremy

It was all about WMD's remember. Then they changed it to "Opertation Iraqi Freedom", and now they are wrapping it up with the "War on Terror". George Bush I quoteth "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and these are the people you need to focus on". |

Well in a way in that the same excuse for the war was used to greatly limit our freedoms, kill the constitution, bill of rights and of course to greatly expand his powers. Now he says I R the dictator and ābingoā he is. Amazing his audacity in proclaiming this publicly with no accountability or checks and balances at all. All it takes is for some emergency he declares/defines for this to take effect. I donāt know about you but this unchecked power over us scares the hell out of me! Just think he directly controls our nuclear arsenal!
Donāt you think it is about time we said enough is enough? Obviously voting in more puppet CFR members called democrats didnāt change anything. We need a real change back to a true constitutional republic again! The only way for this to happen peacefully is to vote for and support Dr. Ron Paul! The honorable Dr. has supported the constitution in 100% of his voting. Believe it, he doesnāt lie! Doesnāt this sound like the kind of person we want at the helm? |

In a word..... NO!
It's always simple to answer any question which begins with: "Do you really believe G.W. Bush"
The answer is ALWAYS NO! |

Its a EVIL cliche for EVIL fools.
the bushbunch is the closest we ever came to losing "our freedom." If he wasn't past stupid, Evil and greedy to a fault....the bushbunch could have owned us. We were lucky...this time. But they will not go away. |

While we are over there fighting who knows what, the home grown variety of terrorists are multiplying. Bush knew this would happen. Why else would he have all of us under surveillance? What his game is would be anybody's guess. I'll be extremely relieved when this man's term is over. Hopefully somebody normal is elected in 2008.
This kind of war only takes away our freedom. |
|

Epicaricacy.

Of course not. |

My yahoo tool bar disappeared?

No.
As a matter of fact very little of what he has said about anything has turned out to be true. |

LOL!! of course it has nothing to do with our freedom. At this point all it is about is staying in there until Bush is out of office so some of the blame for this huge screw up falls on another president's head. |
