i know u said ur q wasnt whether we agree w/ the war or not but i think u have to take that into consideration when giving ur opinion. it really isn't their choice they are over there...i believe the cause is pointless...so i have to say say i dont support cause, not that i support the troops or not |

it makes no difference to them whether there are WMD's in Iraq
or not
Its unfortunate that the Media concentrates on the negative
and paints a very poor picture
I wish the media could get around its objectivity and for once just
say
hey we're glad your fighting them there, so that we dont have to fight them here (in the USA)
but the main stream media would never do that
instead they prefer to only report the negative

If you're supporting the troops, you're supporting a President that used lies to go to war, which in turn has destabilized an entire region and has begun to seriously impact the global economy.
One president got his jollies on in the white house, and we try to impeach him.
The other lied and has indirectly been the reason for the deaths of thousands upon thousands, has taken away certain civil liberties, has altered the Constitution of the united states, has broken the very own laws he says he will uphold and yet is still in control of the government.
Open your eyes. Our troops are expendable. They are a tool of the government.
It's all about oil and who controls it. |

Absolutely. I also pray for them and their families. We would be doomed if we did not have them. Our future depends on their bravery. I just feel so sad that their lives are at such risk and they do not get the credit or compensation they deserve.
It is unfortunate that the war is fought mostly by those most in need. Any parent shudders to think their son/daughter would be in any war. We should all be grateful and pray for them. Their welfare should be our Country's #1 priority. God bless them all! |

Absolutely! I used to be in the U.S. Navy and honestly we didn't get paid to think..we did our jobs and trusted in our government. So since they are the reason we are not all speaking German love your troops! |

I dont think any American doesnt support our troops; I think people misinterpret disapproval of the leadership as disapproval of the soldiers. I am often characterized by right-wingers as being unamerican because I was against the Iraq War, however, I never rooted for our troops to fail so that I would be right. |

Yes my daughter and many of her friends are and where in the military, I wish more people would step up to the plate and send care packages to our troops, they need our help. this is such a small effort on our part considering what they are doing to keep us free. God Bless Our Troops!! |

We support our solders because they are our people.
Back when I was a solder during the Vietnam conflict, we had no support, people THINK that by calling us names we would lay down out weapons and die, thereby ending the war. People back then said what they meant and held back no punches.
Now, people are saying they support the solders but not the war.
The people are afraid of the government. They do not want to seem unpatriotic so they hold back.
Yes, we support our sons, dauthers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and all other relatives and neigbhors. People in the US leaned not to treat them the way they were treated during the Vietnam conflict. |

I suppoet the troops over there. they are protecting my FREEDON. we tend to everyday life for granted. but, when you think about it, I get up of bed every morning, because of the men and women protecting the FREEDON that they have given me.
