Izzy-Being in the military IS choosing to go to war, you know that is always a possibility when you sign up. The war in Afghanistan began nearly 6 years ago, which means that EVERYONE who is currently in the military has had a chance to get out since the war started. By staying in they are saying they support the war and are willing to fight for it.

Nicky-What is a better reason to fight a war? Terrorism isn't enough for you?

I do support them 100% , and I think that a great amount of them are being treated unfairly! They go off to war and get hurt! Most get kicked out when they are injured, and sent to the VA! The VA right now has a great amount of problems like mold infestation, medical resources that are not easy accessed, and many more problems! Also I do not believe that it is right that some people are rejected for silly little reasons! I have a friend who was not allowed in the military because her period was to long and she gets cramps on it. My thought was big deal take some midol during that time of the month and join anyways! I also belive that it is unfair that weman can not be front line troops. I wanted to be in the front lines and they told me no!

I do support our troops that were sent over to Iraq. They are only doing what they were ordered to do. I don't support the President for the reason he sent them over there for.

yes. absolutely. I hate war, and no one said you have to agree with it, or the president. Opinions about this war greatly differ. We all know that. but what shouldn't differ is the amount of support we are giving to the men and women over there. They are doing their jobs, and regardless of what the media is showing there is some good going on over and and they need support to keep morale high and bring them home.

Yes I do support our troops, For one, My husband is over there and two, some of you people apparently don't have the guts to do what those guy's are doing over there. Why would we be over there just for things like oil or other little things? They are over there fighting for your the freedom of your country and your own butts. Some of you guys just don't get it, The soldiers are doing something yall must not have the guts to do!!!!!

I will always support our troops, no matter what. They volunteered to defend our country and our families, and our freedom. The reason behind thier having to fight does not deter me one way or the other from supporting them. They were given orders that they swore to follow. If it is a bad situation, it is not thier fault. Blame the president or the politicians, but not the troops. They are our true heroes, don't take that away from them.

Now this is one of the most F***ed up questions I've seen here so far. Of course I support the troops over there. They were sent there they didn't ask to go. People should support our countries troops no matter were they are or what they are doing. It's the politicians that people shouldn't be supporting.

And to you naseldrip. Been there, done that. 4 years in the Corps and 8 in the Army what about you?
