It just may be that fewer Americans will die if troops remain in Iraq or Afghanistan than if they come home and terrorist attacks occur in the US. You don't know, nor do I. That is part of the responsibility of being Commander In Chief. |

Please do some research on prior wars in which our country was involved. You will be amazed by the number of U.S. casualties in comparision to today's war!
Yes, we have lost nearly 3,300 service men and women....and it is a great loss.....but nothing in comparision to previous wars such as Nam or battles like Iwo Jima. I think our service men and women are doing a great job...and I'm sure our President cares about all lives lost serving our country.
I am confident that he is as proud and grateful as I am. Every American citizen should be.
God Bless our troops and be kind to those who who speak with ignorance. |

Some very dear friends of mine lost their oldest in Iraq, and they have *repeatedly* asked Ms. Sheehan to please stop using their dead son's name in her anti-war efforts. She refused.
Guess who defended her position? Bush. In a private meeting with my friends that *he* requested.
