But why is the rum always gone?
|
It's spelled 'stagery', as far as Bush is concerned. He may announce it, but he announced there were WMDs and a link to al Quaeda, so I will take it not with a grain of salt, but a whole shaker of it! |

I truly doubt it. Bush will "stay the course" up til his last day in office. Democrats will shortly be taking back the House and I feel that a Democratic presidency will shortly follow; than the War in Iraq will finally come to an end, hopefully. |

No......BTW the democrates don't have one either they just keep saying pull out the troops. That is not an exit stradegy. |

not unless he can find a way for himself and his constituents to profit from it. |

Why would Bush announce an exit strategy? That would be telling. Yes, let's tell the insurgents exactly when and how we are going to leave the new government defenseless, so they can be good and ready to take over as soon as step out! I think he's already said when, which would be when the Iraqui government can hold its own against the insurgent terrorists without our presence. That IS the exit strategy. |

Why would he bother? He's cannot run for re-election and has already made it clear that Iraq is a problem for the next president. |

We're still waiting for the Iraqis to stand up. When that happens, we will fall back. |

Even if he did announce it, it wouldn't mean any more than his other lies, so I'd believe it when our troops were home again.
Another thing, if he announced it , then he'd start in on Iran or terrorists or some other distraction and our sheep would all be looking the other way again. An attention span of maybe 24 hours.
I don't trust anything that man ever says until I see it actually done!
Mission Accomplished! |

Interesting idea, but I think he's too committed. We'll see whether he's politically motivated or whether he's a man of his word, and stands to his committment, won't we? I think the latter.
'nuff said? |

Have the military told him that he's up for re-election?

He's been adamant that he will not announce an exit strategy or scheduel. He's always said we will pull out when the job is done. |

No way. Instead we are going to be looking into the draft proposal just like it had happened in the Vietnam War. |

There would be no advantage for him to do that, he can't get re-elected. |
|

I'd be extremely surprised if he did.
It would be a bad idea. It would allow the terrorists who are the real problem in Iraq to set a timetable that would allow them to make Iraq an Arab province of Iran.
A very bad idea, and President Bush knows it. |
