He was a revolutionary who wanted what was best for the people. Castro was the fascist pig who ruined it. Batista was worse and a puppet.

It was Castro who wanted to kill all those people for "treason."

If Che were alive today he would be called a terrorist, which is exactly what he was. Some of his military tactics were noteworthy, but beyond that, he was just a thug.

The Cuban revolution? You mean the deaths of thousands of citizens in underground chambers or by Che himself? Hell no, the guy was a ruthless killer and his master wa a ruthless dictator. Both should be cleansed from this earth...

I vote for thug and murderer. There is a reason Communist counties build fences to keep their people "in", and a Constitutional Republic has to build fences to keep people "out".

Funny how Communists always characterize themselves as liberators then murder their former supporters when the truth about Communism becomes obvious to it's captives.

I spent 15 years in the Green Berets.....I personally know members of the Special Forces team that helped capture him.....they were there when he was executed (NOTE: It was not the CIA who trained the Bolivians and captured Che.....it was US Army Green Berets)

Che is an interesting cultural phenomenon

FIRST..... When Che was in school his fellow students called him NOT "Che" but the Spanish equivalent of "Pig".....because he rarely bathed.... something he was proud of

SECOND.... His troops called him "Che" (comrade) not out of affection but out of fear. The one battle he fought in during the Cuban Revolution he was so blood thirsty and vicious he frightened his own men. After the revolution Che executed hundreds of prisoners .....most of them without a trial.

THIRD....The biographies call him doctor.....and he was.....but not a medical doctor or life saving surgeon.....he was a dermatologist....and from all reports not a very good one

FOURTH..... During the Bay of Pigs Invasion.....Che did not participate..... if he was such a great military leader.....why did Castro send him off to a remote province ???

FIFTH.... Che fought on several continents.....and never won a conflict.....he failed repeatedly.... he wrote a book on how to fight a revolution.....then in Bolivia broke all the rules he wrote..... he fell into a trap even a stupid private in the American Army would not have put himself in

There is a heroic myth surrounding this "failure' that defies the facts.... and common sense

At the end of his life Che was covered with filth and unshaven.... he started a pig and ended a pig
