I've been there twice and have seen Friends pass on but I don't agree with whats going on!! But I do what I'm told and love being a Marine!!! Many have died before us and i'm sure they did not want to go!! I hate when I see cowards that say they would run!!

I'm not in the military, but I would gladly serve my country, and if I died in Iraq in an effort to protect our country from international terrorism, I would have no regrets.

(I'm not in the military because I'm too old now, and I chose another career after college.)

Other countries wars like the cauldron of the Middle East conflicts are not our concern & I strongly, strongly protest in that Christian soldiers lives are being just thrown away because of western politicians and do gooders who have failed totally to study and understand the indoctrination and nature of the extremists clerics, fundamentals and no end of violent organizations like Hammas who will never allow the chords of peace and harmoney to invest their lands!

Only in the event of some army landing on the shores of the USA or other western civilizations like the Falklands then I, like so many of my countrymen, would be ther to meet them and kick their asses back into the sea! Yes we might be Dad's Army - but would we chew their ***!

Only that would be worth defending and dying for - if neccessary.

Not the crap, ****, waste and degredation of Islamic clerics and their evil ways that permeats the world today. That has to be destroyed in total, not by foreign nationals, to be effective, it has to originate from within the oppressed peoples of the Islamic world.

No one WANTS to die in Iraq. However, people are willing to risk it for the greater good. People who serve or have served in the military are placing the needs of society above themselves, even at the risk of dying.

nope i rather die in a trash can=) sorry but to even go there is not even worth getting a broken leg or maybe even a nail...most of the ppl who are over there,Iraq did no wrong to them but after a month i guess they will(when they kill them)..anyone who says the war is right,and it is fair is sooo off the racket because i know they would not be saying that if they came over here and started to shoot our head off lol

no its not worth it, id never serve in iraq for bush, he doesn't deserve the title president, and he does not care how many troops have died in iraq i cannot wait till 2008 so he can get out of office.

Yes. We are there for a reason. We are there for a just cause. The media brainwashes us to think that we aren't doing anything, but the people of Iraq want us to be there and they want to do something to help us. There was a story about a recruiting station in Iraq. There were 43 Iraqis at a police recruiting station when a car bomb went off. 15 were killed or wounded. The next day there were 28 Iraqis at the same recruiting station. We are not there for the oil either. When the Iraqi government wrote up the original contracts for the oil, the United States was not included or invited. We get our oil from Saudi Arabia, not Iraq.

No one should want to die there. Then again is it worth dying in a car accident? You don't mean to but it could very well happen and statistically is much more likely to happen, yet you still drive don't you?

Helping people is always a good thing. We are just trying to help people to live together in peace. It is the freedom that is new and the society and government must mature to learn how to handle the new responsibility. Right now they need help. Who else is going to provide that help? The French?!? (Sorry I couldn't resist). Seriously though, through our direct action things are the way they are there now.

Though we are not responsibile for the centries old conflict between the Sunni and Shiites we have enabled them to openly kill each other and we must help to stabilize the situation. It is called taking responsibility for our actions.

Though slightly inflamitory of a question, good none the less.

No but I don't believe in the reason's why the Iraq war was started in the first place and don't see any point in continuing a war which will not be won by the coalition.
