Do you think that 9/11 was a hoax?

No, I don't beleive that it was a hoax, but I do beleive that there are things that our government has covered up.

I beleive that planes hit the towers because I witnessed it and bodies were found, etc.

I beleive that it was not a plane that hit the pentagon but one of our own missiles. Why...I'll never understand. There were no bodies of anyone on the plane and the damage to the pentagon does not coincide with any impact of a airliner of that size.

I beleive that there was no crash in Pennsylvania either. There is too much evidence, or should I say lack of. There was never any wreckage found. No bodies! No anything but a few strategically placed pieces of fabric.

What horrifies me is what happened to all of these people?

I lost 2 very dear friends that day. I will never forget, it breaks my heart that things like this happened.

I just wish the government would release the rest of the information and finally tell us the truth!

First of all, obviously you used the wrong word. No, it wasn't a hoax. But was it orchestrated by the US government?
Yes, I've seen Loose Change. And then I thought about it:
IF the government was responsible, then they would have to bribe all the people who were on the planes, all the family members of the people who were on the planes, all of the people who saw the planes... et cetera et cetera. A conspiracy like that would take YEARS to come up with, and even longer to execute. Which would mean that it would have had to have been thought up around the time that LBJ was in office, because that's about the same time that J Edgar Hoover was head of the FBI. Why is that? Because Hoover conducted many wiretaps.
Now, considering the fact that we had a Democratic president in office from 1992-2000, and changes in the Senate, not to mention the FBI and CIA (and the NSA!), that would mean that either A) Clinton, former and current members of Congress and the Senate were in on it, as well as all of the FBI and CIA. Or B) That there was no conspiracy theory because something like that would have leaked.
Did the government have prior knowledge that the US was going to be attacked? YES! But just like Pearl Harbor, they didn't know when, where or how. The ONLY way 9/11 could have been prevented would have been to shut down all flights to, from and within the US. That wouldn't have made much sense, now would it? And then when there was no terrorist attack, the Bush administration would have been at fault.
Now, if there truly WAS a conspiracy, don't you think the goverment would be going to greater lengths to shut down the accusations? Loose Change has been around for awhile now, and Michael Moore hasn't been assassinated yet either.
Why don't you put all that energy that you have, and that thirst for the truth, into something a little more productive? Like, research. The aformentioned www.popularmechanics.com site would be a great place to start. The story is called "9/11: Debunking the Conspiracy Myths." You could also look into how many other events in history had their own conspiracy theories. And how many of them were disproved.

Not a hoax. But a 757 did not hit the Pentagon. I have seen the video from the Pentagon. It was not a 757, but something much smaller.

No. Hoax means that it was made up and never really happened.
I've seen the movie Loose Change and it was very eye-opening I'm definitely a skeptic that terrorists pulled off 9-11 without the help of the gov't.

You'll never get a good answer to this question. Obviously some think that something else happened on 9/11/01. But we all know and saw the result of whatever it was.

I for one believe the Loose Change video to a certain degree, but not 100% of it. It's good that this video gets your brain going, but don't use it as your only source of proof on what happened that day.

God Bless the victims of 9/11, and everyone else...except the Bush administration.

I watched the movie recently and I study physics. I can tell you that a lot of the arguments don't really make sense, but some things are a bit hard to refute since there simply isn't enough video evidence or whatever. There's some websites that refute lots of the claims as well, look them up to get some other opinions as well.

i like a good hoax as well as anyone else, but surely you are confused. a conspiracy probably, an elaborate scheme, sure, and most assuredly a cover-up; but a hoax? (!)
1. there is a large hole in the ground where large buildings used to be.
2. the buildings are gone.
3. a number of innocent people died.
these are not the constituents of a hoax. you have a bad case of mixed metaphor. You have stepped up to the plate and grabbed the bull by the horns, but you need to sit back and think before you ask such a bizzare question. maybe you have, in which case... .

Israel was involved in 9/11. It's an excuse to label Muslims as terrorists. To the extent, I don't believe Osama was behind it. Time will tell who are the real terrorists.

Don't bury your head in the sand. Just see what it has to say and then go to the link provided by Bendude and get some perspective and then make your decision about what happened.

Only people with WAY too much time on their hands believe the bull poo. This was what it was, one of the worst days in our history, and as Americans, how we rose to the challenge, saved hundreds from the towers, took down a plane on shear bravery, and within weeks, started kicking the Taliban's butt!
