My husband was killed in the Gulf war - if only.

But at the end of the day David always said to me 'Darling I'm a soldier, if I get killed it's because or the job I chose, nobody made me do it.'

Hell yeah! I am so tired of seeing people die and families suffer when there is still no progress being made. If progress was being made, the president would not hesitate to brag about it! I haven't heard him brag yet! I too agree with Enrique P!

With all due respect it is morally wrong to pull the troops out of Iraq when the country is so unstable, which by the way is down to us. It is spiralling into a civil war and as we created this mess, we have to stay and clean it up

well the thing is if we leave now it will cause the country to collapse into civil war and it will be another Somalia. also the solders (and I know MANY) will wonder what it was all for if we leave, they need to finish there work. Whether you agree or disagree with the war we need to fix it and make the country stable before we leave.

No, I think our troops should be strategically located through out the world.

Are they wasting their time? I would not say that the war has been an effective deterrent to terrorism in the US. There has not been any major bombing in the US reporting thousand of civilians killed since the war has started; there could other reason for these lack of attacks on US soil.

Still, I not sure I say they are wasting their time and much as I might say that their time might be better spent.

I think that we should but on the other hand do we not go to the aid of others less able to defend themseves in times of strife,I would like to hope that these countries would come to our aid if the situation were reversed. There is no abuse of your opinion but this is mine.have a great day.

i think they should readjust our focus back to the search for Osama bin Laden. That is not a dumb war. Cleaning up Iraq was inevitable, along with all the other countries that has helped support Osama and his band of hyenas.

Yes i do think that we should have our soldiers back home, my husband has been over there twice and it does put a major toll on them and the families back home. Plus i think it just a major waste of our time to be over there in the first place.

I do agree with you! This war is a farce. The only reason we went after Saddam was because Bush senior failed when he tried, and now his son wants to please his daddy. Being that he has failed at everything else that was handed to him. All the different companies that he has run all went into the ground. The reason why the oil companies are able to have a 35+ BILLION dollar PROFIT last year alone. Is because Bush has a financial interest in the oil industry. This whole war is just something to distract the public from another Bush self money making scheme. The worst part is, we have Americans dying over there for people that don't even want us there in the first place. Hope that answered your question. Thank you!!!
