What I find very interesting is some reading I did some years ago. I found that most historians and socio-political analysts -- writing in the 1950's -- tended to say that the next world war would be fought over two issues -- religion and petroleum. They further discussed that it would be a war between western Judea-christian nations and Muslim nations, and would center over Mideast oil reserves.
That was in the 1950s, in the Cold War era, yet these writers had already grasped two fundamental issues facing the world that superceded the Soviet "threat" -- petroleum dependency and the age old conflict of these two large and historically quarrelsome religious groups.
Maybe we couldn't do a lot about fundamental ideological differences, but it makes me wonder why we haven't solved the oil dependency problem. |

Well anything is possible. However my philosophy is to your bit to keep the peace, help anyone you can, give people a friendly smile instead of a frown. Peace ( and wars) all have their origins, just make sure that if anything is going to start with you that it is peace! |

Probably, but who cares. Were either going to die from war, overpopulation, or global warming. So who cares. |

Please do not waste time asking frivolous questions like this on a forum like this. We are fellow humans like you and have as much insight into the future as you. Only God maybe has better clairvoyance than us.
Don't worry about the past. Your worrying will not change it.
Stop worrying about 3rd and 4th world wars or any other uncertain event in the future. It is only in your vivid imagination.
Live well and do justice to the present moment and the future will take care of itself. |

Yes I do. the Muslim lunatic fringe seem to be pushing more and more, apologies to the normal Muslims in the world but some of your more (shall we say "indoctrinated brothers and sisters") radical fighters seem to want a show down with the non Muslim Countries. I myself am an atheist and I will be really offended if my life was to be cut short because of either one of of these crackpot beliefs, but if the chips were down I would pick up a M16 against the forces of darkness, the scum that bomb school buses, and then take an AK47 from the dead hand of a GOOD Muslim. Then I would not have had a totally wasted life. |

I believe there could be a ww3 in the near future. Ecspecially with whats going on in north korea, iran, and all those other countries over there fighting each other or doing stupid stuff. And I believe with the marine helicopters going into lebanyon?spelling?? If one of them get shot down from someone then bush will probably do sumthn about it.
If this even answers your ? |

I hope so.
The sooner mankind is wiped out, the better.
What are we good for? Causing chaos and destroying things. Great. |

It is inevitable, why do you need to ask.
Most of us could hazard a guess as to who one side will be, but the other is an absolute certainty. I'll give you a clue, three letters, first one U, last on, A.
The way they are going, they are bound to be able to provoke a nuclear strike sooner or later, then we are all toast. |

Yes,I agree with you,it has already started.
The most important thing is to be ready to meet God.
It is scary, but,we all need to trust God and put our Life
in his hands. If you have a "King James" version of the Bible,
here's you some scriptures to read;
Psalm 83: verses 4-8; Zech.12: verse 2
also, 1 Thess.5: verse 3 |

Yea... although I don't think we would be around for very long to see the effects.
The last 2 world wars were horrifying enough. Today we have new, even more brutal technology but the same evil streak in too many humans today. |

History will state that WW 3 began 9/11/2001. Now, why don't you go back and retake spelling so the rest of us don't waste time attempting to decipher what you're trying to say? |
