Of course they don't. They only care about pushing their political agenda which is basically anything they can to do make people dislike conservatives.
Great reminder Butterbar Bob. Where was their undying love for the troops when the Democrats were trying to discount the military absentee ballots? Where were all of the Democrats then? They were too worried about some welfare slacker who might not get to vote. They don't care about the people who are putting their lives on the line to protect us.

I remember how outraged they were when they found out that the Democrats had lawyers in every jurisdiction in Florida trying to invalidate all the absentee ballots from overseas military...
Oh, that's right, they didn't say, "boo" about it.
Can anybody tell me why I should believe in the Democrat claim to care about the troops, when they tried to disfranchise them in 2000? |

no,they were spitting on Iraq war vets, that is just horrible.I never thought i would see that kinda crap again. |

No they do not. I have talked to about 10 Marines who have come back from Iraq, and they all said it was a fun experience, and that the general populace in Iraq love them. The only Iraqis that do not like Ameircans, are the thugs and warlords who cannot wage an all out war with us there. |

No they don't, Instead they make soldiers feel as if they are doing the wrong thing and have done very terrible things...
Basically I believe it is treason..... |

How can somebody be 'supporting the troops' while they are working to see that those same troops get defeated? |

Anti-War protesters- in their own cracked out minds ...yes
Celebrities- same...but it's more for attention! |

Why not get to the bottom of this all? How many of the "support the troops" people really care about the people of Iraq? How many will still care what happens after the troops leave?
Most of the "Support The Troops/Bomb Hanoi" people did not give a d.a.m.n. about the Vietnamese people 32 years ago. Once all the troops had returned, there was no reason to support anything. So, why all the pretense now? |

You mean the "united for peace" protestors who spat on the veteran who lost half his leg and then fought to go back because he was wearing an 82nd Airborne Division sweatshirt? No, I don't think they support soldiers. |

By my way of thinking they Harm our troops. I have been in the military during war and I know how the protest lower moral and distract our people but I also believe it boost the other sides moral. I don't believe most protesters are doing what they do with the intention of causing harm but they don't understand the effects of their actions. IMO the protesters in their mind feel the are doing a service to our fighting forces. |

they're just like all other protestors, pushing their own agenda. |

They say they care about the troops, but they are liberals, so no, they do not care about the troops. |

No one can tell you what another person thinks with any degree of accuracy. As a person that doesn't support war, I can tell you that I do support the troops. |

anti-war protestors do care about the troops..they are the ones wanting them home because too many have died senselessly in a war based on White House lies and propaganda. |

Tink

No they dont. They are just making a political statement for the attention and the elections. |

Anything negative that is said about the war emboldens the enemy, and thus puts our troops in greater danger. "I support the troops, not the war" is a bunch of BS. If you support the troops, but you don't like the war, do it in SILENCE with your wallet, heart and prayers. Anything other than that is just selfish to your personal causes, and shows that you really don't care about the welfare of the young men and women who put their lives on the line for all of us. |

You are not open to answers that anti-Iraq invasion people will give. You seem to equate caring what happens to the troops with support of a war started on false premises, continued with further patterns of deception, and in the end a quagmire with no clear end in sight. When you analyze this war, you will see that Bush has never stated what his idea of victory is that has any measure in reality. I support the individuals who make up all of the armed forces and wish them long productive lives. I wish them either home or really confronting bin Laden, or the drug cartels that poison our society, or rooting out organized crime in our backyards or being present in case there is another Katrina-like catastrophe. |

we just want then to come hope and stop supporting and doing stupid missions that can get them killed. We support their wanting to come back, but we condemn their willingness to support a evil president who's sending them to their graves. We all want them to come home, but bush wants more blood, and these troops are willing to die for his thirst of power, thats sad. |

Why should they? The troops are goosestepping skinheads with no pride or self-identity. They are Mamas' Boys searching for bullies as father figures, overcompensating for the fact that their own fathers are weaklings.
Real Americans aren't slaves to authority, like these volunteers are. We don't need these neo-Nazis punks to come back here except in body bags. |
