YES YES YES!!!!!!! All branches are HURTING for Nurses. They prefer them to be active but the hurt is so bad that they hire civilians. Look at DOD jobs and call your HRO and local bases for more info.

Not sure about civilian, but they are killing for active duty. I would look on USAjobs.com

Because the nurses and medical staff they have that are enlisted get deployed and it leaves the base short handed. They will usually bring in contracted medical personnel to fill the open positions left by enlisted personnel.
