I love being in the military. My former Plt. Sgt and current Plt Cmdr knew I love the Marine Corps because I always volunteered for all the events and duties. I like going overseas and seeing other places. Many can only imagine going places, but the military actually makes it happen. The things we do on liberty is beyond your imagination. You'd never guess we're in the military except for the haircut.

military is great, you should try it!! spent 10 years in the airforce during vietnam...saw the world, drank beer in every country, dated lady's around the world....smoked the best weed in vietnam, made many friend's everyone I new had fun was as good as college if not better ! finished college for free, so yes it was fun...........................

I spent 26 years in and got to do things that were incredible.

But more importantly - in the military you will be given a chance to be part of history.

My time in the Grey Funnel line was a blast, all those countries, all those women, all that beer, and I got paid for doing it. There really was a god then :-)

My husband and I have fun all the time. I was in the AF and throughout basic, I never laughed so much in my life. AIT is like college, 4-H camp and PE all in one. Meet great people and travel opportunities are awesome. It's only as bad as you make it.

Fun is a Must or Madness will prevail...
In my old Unit we worked really hard and played even harder ask the doormen in Hereford..Great Days, Great Memories.
Once did a Night Ex with the TA in Brecon (South Wales) we spent all night in the Pub giving it large on the radio at one point the TA boys thought their position was about to be over run fact was we were 10 miles away on our 10th pint, all sat around the tables with a big stack of bergans, webbing and weapons in the middle of the pub floor....Oh how we Laughed..We had a couple of Sargents who did the Iranian embassy seige they used to have us on the floor laughing about the stories on that one..They dropped in so much smoke and C.S they couldn't see Sh!t. But hey it looked great on the News..

My world

Hell, no!!! I had a great time while I was in the military. Between traveling all over the world (Spain, England, Austria, Germany, Borneo, the Balkans, all over the US, Mexico, France, Greece) both for work and as vacation and all the different weapons I got to play with, the money earned the free time (4 days weekends every month while in Germany), the friends made, the parties done, etc, etc. I HAD A BLAST!
