Does USA have WMDs?

The US has plenty, thank you for asking. Better still, we have the capability to stick them into any room anywhere in the world. And we have the industrial capacity to make more.

Your question assumes the US will attack anyone who has WMDs. That is misinformed. Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, and Israel all have WMDs. We don't attack them. South Africa used to have WMDs. We didn't attack them.

None of those countries have used WMDs in the last 60 years, including the US. But Saddam did, both against the Iranians and against his own people. It was his own stupidity that got him attacked. All he had to do was let the UN verify that he had no WMDs and dismantle the production factories and he would still be in power.

None of those countries have announced that it is their official policy to destroy another country, as Iran has done about Israel. Iran does not need nuclear power to generate electricity. It has enough natural gas to generate all the electricity it could possibly use for 500 years. With Saddam gone, Iran is not threatened by any of its neighbors. What possible use could Iran have for a nuclear bomb? Oh yeah, that Israel thing. Israel is not a threat to Iran--unless Iran tries to get a nuclear bomb.

If Iran gets close to getting a nuclear weapon, they had better hope its the US that attacks them. We are good enough to do it while only killing several thousand people. If Israel has to do it, Iran could lose millions.

For those idiots who think the US armed Iraq: most of the Iraqi tanks were T-72s, T-62s and T-55s, the rest of their tanks were Type 59 and Type 69, the airplanes were MiGs, the SAMs were SA-7s and SA-9s, the rifles were Kalashnikovs. In case you don't know, all of that is Russian, except the Type 59 and 69 tanks, which are Chinese. Their artillery was a mixture of Russian and Canadian/US design.

When the US military destroyed the Iraqi army, we destroyed Russian and Chinese tanks, not US tanks. When we bombed Iraqi missle sites, we bombed Russian missiles, not US missles. When we shot down their jets, we shot down Russian airplanes, not US planes. When we picked up the rifles their soldiers dropped, we picked up Russian and Chinese rifles, not US ones. How devoid of reason do you have to be to fail to see who armed Iraq?

We did not. This is just another example of people believing anything as a long as it criticizes the US.

Still think we did? Just supply the name of a specific weapon we sold to Iraq. (Ever notice how for all the claims that we sold weapons to Iraq - nobody can actually name what those weapons supposedly were?)

At least 10 countries have WMD's but havent used them, and wouldnt either. That was proven by the Cold War.

Its when nutjobs get WMD's that we all have to worry, because they are not afraid of the consequences.

And before any smartarse tells me that the USA has actually used nuclear weopans at the end of WW2...I know, and its because if that experience that no-one has used them since. They also saved circa 2 million soldiers lives by doing it and brought the war to an end.

WMD's are not just nukes either. They are gas and chemical weapons which are outlawed by the international community, an even so the Iraqis and Iraninans have been happily using them as recently as 15 years ago.

We sold weapons to Iraq because at the time, they were a counter to Iran, shortly after the takeover there by the Ayatollah Assahola. At the time it made sense to our Gov't to counter the new Islamic Republic by supporting a secular Arab country.

The United States of America currently possesses enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world 3 times over. Furthermore, we are the first and thus far only country to ever deloy them in combat. However, in modern times, the United States has authored and with the cooperation with other countries signed the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty which is designed not to stop people from gaining nuclear power but to stop them from giving it to rogue nations. Certain regimes and countries can not be trusted with WMDs and hence why the U.N. and the U.S. take hard stances on them. For instance Saddam Hussein deployed chemical and biological weapons against the Iranians and the Kurds during his reign in Iraq. The U.S. does not attack every country that has WMDs. Just the ones who would and could use them to undermine world stability. The fact that Iraq had no WMDs when we attacked them...well chalk that up to Bush which is a whole other rant altogether...

well we obviously have them duh and we have used them on ourselves i mean did you see a boeing 757 hit the pentagon, nooo...but we do see something small and silver hit the building like a rocket or missle. well it wasnt mass destruction per say but its still pretty fishy i'll say that much. i have a prediction. i believe that we are gonna bomb ourselves on 6/6/6 or during that week for sure. i forsee sin city and nevada as the target. hey they got away with 911, now they think they can gety away with anything because we're too stupid and niave to look into things, naw we just believe everything big brother tells us..wtf!
