I care about the war in Iraq. I've opposed the US invasion of Iraq since 2001 (since before it happened, but appeared imminent). It is very difficult to convince the American government to change it's course, though, and I feel that the US forces will stay in Iraq for at least another decade. I do not support the US forces in Iraq; what they are doing is wrong, accepting orders from a leader who violates the US Constitution left and right is wrong. It is the duty of American servicemen to uphold the US Constitution, not to blindly obey whoever happens to win the Presidency (or steal it or have it purchased for him). The servicemen in Iraq do not deserve the support of the American people, but just as those servicemen blindly obey their orders from above, the American people blindly support them, as instructed from above.
I find it disheartening and disgusting that other people who answered only care about the war in Iraq because they have family members or friends there. I don't have any family or friends there; nobody I am personally associated with is stupid enough to get him/herself sent there. I care about the 100,000+ innocent people who have been killed since 2003. I care about the more than half million children who died due to the US imposed sanctions between 1991 and 2003. I care about the mothers of those children and those other innocents who lost their lives. It doesn't matter to me if they are American or not.
The Americans started a war based on false pretenses with the goal of stealing oil - an evil goal. If anyone deserves to die or to be hurt, it's the American invaders, not the innocent people of Iraq who had their lives torn apart and their country ripped asunder by America destroying the infrastructure and basic law and order of Iraq, turning most of the country into a hellish anarchist state.
I care about the war in Iraq, and unlike most Americans, I believe the US is 100% at fault for everything (all the death, destruction and mayhem which most people can not conceive of) that is happening there now. |

Every last one of those American souls that are in Iraq and all of their family members back home care. |

Oh, was there a war in Iraq? Did Congress pass a DECLARATION OF WAR? Or did they just ratify a properly submitted one that was presented by the President? ... When did they do that? Maybe I was on the night shift that week... |

I care I care very much because I have 5 guys that I know and love very much in that war. I hate it when people just give up on the war just because you dont have loved ones fighting doesnt mean you can try to make people stop caring about whats going on. You would care if there was a war going on in America wouldnt you??? |

Millions of Iraqi children care. Other than that I can't think of one spineless yellow bellied worm who's too scared to think of anything they don't like who would care about Iraq. |

Military personnel
people who have family members over there
taxpayers who are paying for this lesson in futility
investors in oil or weapons or "re-building" contractors who are raking it in |

My heart breaks for the families who still get news every day about someone who will not come home. It does not stop. I care about the civilians there who are dying, little children and all. I hate the war and we are not liberators we are occupying the country , we have no business there. Israel problems are now overshadowing what we can't forget. Iraq is there and wrong. |

People are dying and getting injured all the time because of the War, a better question would be who cares about the people who are sent to fight. I dont believe in this war at all, but that does not mean I dont care for those participating. |

Ask any mother, father, sister, brother, cousin, aunt or uncle that has a person over there. The answer is yes. |

As a member of the military, I certainly do. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thinks about the war and the possibility of getting deployed. I just ask that my fellow countrymen don't forget about my comrades over seas, but it sounds like that's wishful thinking on my part. |

I'm willing to bet young... find yourself then judge situations you don't understand. Hope you do it sooner than later. You'll probly be able to vote soon (horribly dumb question) 100 people being killled again, I am sure someone cares. |
