That's 50 plus years of service, and he would be in his 70's. Does sound fishy to me.

My boss is a retired General and he's 77, but he only did 25 years. Geez, he needs to get a life.

My uncle was a POW in Korea, and he passed away a few years ago. It's sad, my uncle was my hero, and this guy is pretending to be a veteran. He's disrespecting the men and women who have served in any of those wars.

He couldn't be a Korea vet and all the rest; age is the defining factor. I think last year the last of the Vietnam veterans were done with Iraq but it might have been two years ago and those were National Guard personnel who had been active duty in Vietnam. To be both a Korea War Vet and OIF he would be pushing 70 or over. Lots of BS here from lots of people-Marines who don;t know who Chesty Puller was, Army veterans who don't know the caliber of an M-16 (No it is not 7.62 NATO) and so on. But to answer the question no he can't be a veteran of all of them; could be a civilian contractor with some one over there but that does not make him a veteran of it.

There is no doubt about it.

He makes the following claims when he posts:
"Bronze Star recipient
Purple Heart recipient
Korean Vet
Vietnam Vet
Bosnia Vet
Kosovo Vet
Desert Storm Vet
OIF I, II, III, IV, V"

It would be completely impossible to be a Korean War veteran and then be a veteran of OIF I, II, III, IV, and V.

I was in OIF I and knew of very few Vietnam veterans who were still in, there were zero Korean War veterans in and havent been for a while.

Assuming he is 18 at time of enlistment, that makes him 76. No way he is in OIF V at 76. The first Gulf War, he would be almost 60 years old. F**ck that dude.

The probable thing is that he is enjoying the comments from others. That is how he gets some sense of human contact. In reality he is just some child who relishes this. Or some guy who is older, has nothing better to do and cannot grasp the real world. My bet is that he is an introvert who watches TV and women do not like him.

I would bet the guy is in his mid twenties, unemployed, the son of a veteran, and starved for attention. Except for the time spent outside of his current residence, with mother or father, I doubt he has ever left the country.

Tiramisu...so you're on leave right now from OIF.... but what about the Korean War? It ended in 1953, and that would mean that you have been on active duty for the last 55 years. That would mean you are over 70 years old and serving active duty? Could you really not come up with a better story then that one?

My father who is roughly age 70 was too young to go to Korea, and my father in law DID go to Korea, 18 years old and is now 76! My father served in Vietnam. My 40 year old husband was through the 1991 Gulf Conflict and this current one, but was in schools for the majority of the time for the military during Kosovo and Bosnia, but I did have a friend who served in Bosnia, and she is about 36 or so. My father in law retired as a CWO5 in 1992 out of the National Guard with 42 years of service, and many of his Military Service years with the Guard and Reserve from 1950-1992 . I believe in all he spend only 20 or 22 of his 42 years in the military active duty.
