That story is some piece of s*** because we all know that the American army has sacrificed so much that they all deserve lots of love and respect from all of us.
I love them especially the guys deployed in Iraq because they kill so many moslems and i love to see moslem blood spills. Because they are butchers so they deserve to be butchered by the best army in the world. I know that you are a moslem thats why you hate peacekeepers and you kill the whites in your country because you also kill your brothers in your own country that has a different perspective in Islam.
The whites are just there to help you but what do you do? you morons behead the social workers and engineers that are helping in the rebuilding of your Allah-forsaken lands. You deserve to be butchered and massacred and bombed by the americans and I love it when i see your houses burned and your children dead.

A lot of ppl just have high emotions right now about this war we are in.

Also, the same thing happened during the Vietnam war. The troops would be met at the airports when returning from duty with protest crowds that would throw things, yell obscenities, etc...

I personally have mixed feelings about the troops. I am also a female and I was in the military during the late 80s early 90s. I'm very glad that I was not in when this war started because I would have refused to go but I'm sure a lot of the troops don't agree with it but feel they have to because they signed up. It's the ones that do agree with it that I have a problem with.

I don't believe you at all. No one comes out of ROTC as a captain. Also, I have never heard any similar stories of abuse from the public from my fellow servicemembers. Stop trying to get attention.

I live in Austin, one of the most liberal cities in America, and I've never received one cross exchange from anyone.

I dont support the army because of the war in Iraq even though you have no say in it when it comes to going to war but the one to blame for this is president bush. he's the real killer he is killing Innocent Iraqi people and getting American solders killed for no reason

I dont hate the troops, they have no say in what happens to them. People that spit on you are being ignorant. If nobody joined the military there would be a draft and then it would be mandatory. People should be more mad at the people leading those into combat, like politicians.

The vast majority of Americans don't hate you and respect you even if they don't like what the military is doing now (I actually believe the Military is doing a good job and the right thing right now) but no matter what you do there will always be someone who hates you. Look at this Hillsbouro Baptist Church out of Kansas that is protesting soldiers funerals because they believe that the US is promoting a Gay agenda. These people should be shot, but they are such a small minority of the people in the US but they do things that gets them noticed. Keep your head up and realize that 90% of us are with you and keep doing what you are doings and

American soldiers are making hates, you are in service and you should know better than others while you are invading and occupying other countries and killing innocent unarmed people, they should be disgusted you. Nobody wants enemy in his/her country and home and nobody can't trust to murderers.

look many people in the world hate American soldiers or more correctly are afraid of them ,

for your own people to treat you with disrespect is wrong

you are only following orders of your bosses .if you didnt they would punish you worse than the civilians.

and the reasons for guys joining the forces is often to escape from poverty.

whilst soldiers are in the forces they are open to all kinds of mind control and opinion shaping

but you also can know what to expect ,judging from what happened to soldiers from vietnam ,few people apreciated their efforts , ,afterwards when war truths came out

this will be worse ,so you can live a life amongst only soldiers who are all in the same boat .,

if you want to be amongst the general public ,another ocupation would give you a more peacefull life.

ma'am... i'm terribly sorry to hear about those people's INTOLERABLE behavior.

i live in an airforce community and we back our soldiers 100%... just because one doesn't agree with the politics of war, doesn't mean that they need to be disrespectful of those who are doing their jobs to give them the luxury of showing disrespect. their behavior is completely and utterly inappropriate and i sincerely hope that you don't take it to heart.

my SINCERE thanks to you and to everyone else in the armed forces who work their *sses off on a daily basis to maintain our way of life. please know that all americans aren't as simple and naive as those that you encountered the other day.

No. People mostly respect US soldiers in the US at least. They are doing what they believe is right. I don't support the government putting soldiers in harms way unless absolutely necessary.

American military is the reason we are all free. I thank every one of them and I hope they all return home soon, safely.

War is hell, and I pray for our soldiers everyday.

You wear your uniform proudley. You are serving your country, and hopefully you will be ok if you are deployed.

I have a lot of respect for soldiers that serve there country my brother is a soldier in the Australian army and i am extremely proud of him people that don't are usually to brainless to form their own opinions and just like to find something to disagree about im sorry to hear that you get treated like that it is a disgrace.Don't let ignorant people put you down...Best of luck to you.

Umm wtf?? When i was in uniform on an airplane they haulted unloading to thank me and everywhere i have ever been in uniform people thank me and cry for what i do...i dont believe you were spit on ...maybe in the 80's not now...sorry

I am very sorry for what happened to you. It was probably just a bad day. I rarely meet anyone who has a problem with the soldiers, I'm a bartender I hear it all. Whether or not I agree with this war is not important but I do respect and appreciate everything all of the men and woman now and in the past who have fought for our country. I believe you should take pride in your country. Its like you do with your family, you take the good with the bad and even if they piss you off every once in a while you stand by them, and kick any ones @ss who tries to hurt them.

What the heck, where on Earth were you shopping? Apparently these people were free from the loony bin and on leave for the day. I would chaulk it up to ignorance, and know that there are many many people that respect you for wearing that uniform. Hold your head up girl. And no, I don't know of anyone who feels that way, even people that don't support the war would never spit at a soldier.
