Does the RAF take people for internship?

I have an 8-month co-op next year, and as an Irish citizen I am entitled to join the RAF (ground role). But does the RAF take Aeronautical Eng students for internship/co-op?

Not unless you have sponsorship im afraid, and to get that you have to make a commitment to join the RAF once you've graduated.
