We only accept "help" from other nations as a token gesture to keep up an image, the real work is being done (and done well) solely by Americans. |

Iran has NO Navy to speak of, NO Air Force to speak of and an illiterate ground force. Are you calling the waves of unarmed teenagers they sent charging the Iraqi Army "formidable"? Catamarans with .50 cal machines guns a Navy? A couple of diesel subs scary to a nuke force?

Iran is a second-rate military power that can't even protect its own trash heap of a country and doesn't compare to Israeli military might. Bear in mind that Israel has the best air force in the world and the best intelligence service. Your question is moot. Iran's nuclear capabilities are dubious. Should it use a nuclear bomb against America or Israel, Iran would be wiped off the map and become a desert nation. |

Lets put it this way...If (and that is a big IF) Iran where to have the ability to attack the US with nuclear weapon. And if they were dumb enough to claim responsibility for it...
There would definitely be a long list of nations willing to put the smack down on Iran...not because they like the USA but because Iran in shooting first would create a situation that would destabilize the balance of power.
Read the news from Iran...even the Iranians are starting to criticize Amadinajad for his provocative speeches. |

MAD (mutually assured destruction) will probobly stop Iran from attacking the USA as the USA are bound to retalliate. Also many countries would help America as they would feel threatened by iran themselves and so would help America fight against them. America have also shown recently that they have the capability to shoot things out of space, all of this will be a huge deterent for any country to attack them |
