This is a really dumb question. The US and UK are great allies. Why on earth would we fight each other?
That aside, the answer is 'IF it comes down to it, yes.' The Brits are good soldiers, but not good enough that the US is going to lie down, and play dead. We respect them, but we do not fear them. |

Two things okay?
1. They are allies with us and we would not go to war with them for any reason right now. The UK is very supportive of us for the most part and most English people support America and our military.
2. Their is no way the UK could beat the U.S. in a conventional war. Probably not even in a guerilla war. Couple the power of the Army, the might of the Navy, the speed of the Air Force and the determination and grit of the Marines and you have a kick-a** war machine. Even with a strained military, we still have the power to win a conventional war fairly easily.

Why the living fuktard would we? Great Britain is considered our closest political ally along with Israel.
If it actually happened though, the US would be victorious within 24 hours...
gotta love the firepower, speed and proficiency of the Air Force. |

That's a stupid question. The UK and us Americans are probably the closest allies on earth. Even though we fought and won for our independence, much of our culture comes from the UK. Obviously, if it were the US vs. UK, and no outside influence from any other country, we would destroy the UK, but I would never fight our brothers(Brits), unless they did some evil act against our country, which would never happen. |

Yes, we did it twice and won both times!!! That was when we were much weaker and The UK was much stronger. |

The U.S. miltary and the U.K. military ALREADY fought TWO wars against each other... the U.S. won BOTH. All we have to do is put an embargo on Guiness Ale and their economy would collapse in a week, we don't even need to fight! |
