I will say yes but I do so only because it is true, however I also add that the quality of our military personnel no matter what the service is excellent and being gallant is only one of their many fine qualities.

Our fighting forces are the best and most professional in the world. They have fought and won a gallant and stunning victory in Iraq. The civil war currently in place and the eventual working out of this situation needs to be on their heads, not ours. Bring our brave soldiers home.

As I have friends and family I would have to say that all branches of the military have gallant men, but they also have guys that aren't as good. The USMC is no different. I have met many people in the Marines and some I would trust and some seemed a little shady (the stories they told of war as anyone who's been to war never really talks in detail about it unless they are lying). So yes there are great guys in the Marines, but they are also found in other branches of the military. My husband is in the Army and he shows a lot of the same characteristics of the common level of courtesy that the Marines show. And I have a bunch of friends and family in the the Army and the Marines.

Nope. We signed up to do a job and we do it! Sure some punks just sign up for the college or bonuses but they are the unpatriotic bunch. When I signed up to defend this great United States, I knew what I was signing up for and I am willing to give my life for you and others who believe in the US and what it "should" stand for!
