AMERICANS: This is the Aircraft Carrier US LINCOLN, the second largest ship in the United States Atlantic Fleet. We are accompanied with three Destroyers, three Cruisers and numerous support vessels. I DEMAND that you change your course 15 degrees north. I say again, that's one-five degrees north, or counter-measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship.

Really funny, but the depressing part is why am I not surprised. An American high technology ship come up the Clyde river here in Scotland, and it's automatic defence systems warned of an impending threat from another vessel. Left to itself, it would have launched missiles. Common sense prevailed however, as the "threat" turned out to be the Renfrew ferry, whose passengers included a mother and baby in a pram, a bus driver, and 14 schoolkids on a nature hunt. |

Yeah! Typical Yanks - think they own the world. You know that their USN ships refuse to dip their colours when passing other ships? Just how rude is that? I mean, it's not surrender, it's no more than a gentleman doffing his hat to a lady. American ain't no gentlemen.
