EAS before deployment ends?

i am currently deployed and my contract with the military is going to expire in September before my deployment ends is my unit supposed to send me back from deployment 30 to 45 days early to my current duty station in order for me to complete out processing.

you will be extended until the end of the deployment. you will finish the deployment as scheduled and then process out.

Most likely your ETS will be extended involuntarily to a date past the date that your unit is scheduled to redeploy. Typically formal notification of that is made 90 to 120 days prior to your ETS and the extended ETS is typically 45 days or so past your unit's redeployment date to give you sufficient time to outprocess.

This is not the same as the Stop Loss program which generally cuts across all lines regardless of your deployment status. Sometimes it's service-wide and other times it's limited to specific MOSs and/or ranks. You could be assigned CONUS and still be Stop Lossed. The involuntary extension provisions under wartime or contingency deployment conditions are spelled out in virtually all enlistment contracts. Pull your copy and it will be clearly stated there.
