European War 21st Century?

Background info:

The economic crisis in the world gets worse, more people are turning the the extremes again of fascism and communism. Which countries are going to go what way? What governments will be elected in the others (i.e conservatives, for example)?

Which countries will now form alliances?

Who will invade who first?

Who wins?

(Of course this can only be opinions, but its a bit of fun compared to some of the other topics and a break from the usual crap people usually argue about here)

Violation Notification

Russia invades former soviet countries such as: Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus. NATO declares war on Russia (it's not just a European war). NATO comes to the aid of the former states, the allied army is led by the US and UK. China allies with Russia and invades America. Russia loses it's grip on the newly acquired lands and decides to launch Nuclear missiles on the rest of Europe. UK, France, Germany and the USA retaliate by doing the same. Also firing on China. A nuclear holocaust has begun, majority of people are dead. The End.

Although you Q does sound a little extreme, lets not forget how one country rose up and bucked the trend in the 1930's because of the poor way they were treated after WW1. Germany went their own way anyway and said FU to the rest of Europe.

The UK now could be on that turn. People are fed up, they've had enough of the EU asylum. And it's a tinder box for riots and civil disturbance.

Western Europe has already been invaded, it is an economic battle going on. But it won't lead to war it will lead to mass revolt and civilian uprising and as always there has to be a scapegoat, guess who?

The Europeans, for the most part, have realized that they can profit more as allies than as enemies, so things would have to get extremely bad before they resort to their old ways.

If a European war does break out, it'll either be in the Balkans (the site of the most recent conflict in Europe, which bled into the 21st century, btw), or as a result of Russia, of which part of it is European.

The invasion of Georgia was just a warning. The Ukraine is next.

I hope there won't be anything like that - I am going to join the German Army to become an officer. I'd refuse to wage war against my friends, I guess, so no fighting against GB or the US, that is for sure.
