An eye for an eye leaves the world blind my friend. Haven't we yet learned from Gandhi, from MLK, and from Christ yet? If it's an eye for an eye mentality that we should have, all those Americans in power who supported Saddam when he was doing what they requested of him, knowing fully well his crimes against the Shiites, including Rumsfeld and others in the American government, should also be hanged. It's not people that we fight; it's suffering. Hanging a man for crimes, we are commiting a crime ourselves. Christ said, love your neighbor and love your enemy. Whichever Saddam was, we should love him.

Saddam did wrong yes...but he did a lot more right than he did wrong. Iraq and the rest of the middle east have been killing each other since the beginning of time and the U.S is gaining fromit so they supply it...DO NOT FORGET Saddam was being tried for his LESSER crimes BECAUSE he did his MAJOR ones whilst supported and encouraged by the US. So as to your last statement it is the U.S who should be considered a threat and again as your statement...burning in hell. So the U.S has 2 eyes and the Iraqis have none...No decent leader and an unwanted democracy that in about 20 years will be so corrupt another nation will come in and invade them again simply because they can.

OK you think in youre own little world that he got what he deserved . I would love to know how you justify that . I mean when has anyone ever taking a life ended in a good result especially in this volatile situation it can only result in more bloodshed of innocent lives and people like you aren't helping the situation at all . I may not get the best vote on this one, but I was in the military eight years so you know I love our country... II served almost a year in the last operation... I was there at the beginning so I do believe the people he wronged and killed in Kuwait and Iraqi deserved justice! We also have fallen solders from desert storm who families are probably sleeping better at night..

But overall America shouldn't want anything to do with his execution. Our nation has enough terrorist to fight. "His people" should have brought him to justice along time ago. We fought in Iraqi because we were told, and you want to fight for what is right, but the real fight was in Afghanistan (9-11).

You just try to stay focus on going home and believe you are doing the right thing.

I am saddened that someone has been executed. Even though he was a devil of a man. But it is unfair for you to stop there if you have this bitterness in your heart. Saddam killed many people for his own good. George,Tony and Johnny were all part of the axis that installed Saddam to a position of power to suit their own ends. They new what he was like. Ask the CIA. They would have thoroughly informed Bush of this maniac. The Pommy and Aussie axios members would have been briefed fully as well.. For justice to be carried out in such a way that the world can learn right from wrong, George, Tony and Johnny should have had their necks stretched too.

It will give justice to all that was murdered and there will be no threat of his people getting him out of jail, i think he did get what deserve but i would of felt better seeing him swing because then all those theories (dont know if you heard them) flying around.
But after what he done i think hell is to good for him, i think there should be a place where people like him should have there souls feel all the pain of there victims

he was alledgely hung. since no one saw him fall and suddenly stop and swing, if he is actualy gone, Yes justice has been carried out.
