For those in the IRR/IWR what is a PHA(Periodic Health Assessment)?

I have it coming up and am just curious about the process and is it mandatory?

It's a basic health check up. Blood work, questionairres, some briefings, eye exam. They're just trying to make sure there aren't any big health issues. Sometime one of the tests will result in further exams, but mostly it takes about 2-4 hrs, depending on the clinic and how busy they are.

it is mandatory, its just an assessment of ur health, both physical and mental. usually befor or after a deployment.
