How to make an anti-military video. 1. find the most disenchanted lowest ranking single term soldiers that you can. 2. pick on the G.I. bill, and leave out all of the other programs and grants that the Army provides for education. 3. Cindy Shehan was on this video, and you think that there is a chance that this would be an accurate portrayal? Not so much. 4. Add in collateral damage that is simply a terrible part of any war, then suggest that soldiers are simply shooting at random. 3. talk about rape and discrimination, but leave out the Army zero tolerance policy, and Equal Opportunity programs. The Vietnam Vet was a nice touch, but there were a few of them that were drafted, then returned home to find that their country hated them. While most served honorably and have no regrets about their service, a few have harbored an anti-military sentiment due to that experience. The bottom line is that this is severely biased. Also, I wonder how many of these people actually served/served honorably. You also have got to love the kids that said that they almost enlisted, yeah, they have somthing to bring to this argument. |

First off the video should be called before you enlist in the Army or Marines... I know the Air Force was not shown or mentioned once in the video and I am pretty sure the same is true for the navy.
Air Force and Navy recruiters are WAY different than Army and Marine recruiters and they should not all be lumped into one category as the title of the video suggested. |
