Is it possible to enter the French Foreign Legion coming from the US?
More importantly, can I join with flat feet?

First you should try ROTC, if you don't qualify for that, or can't hack it, don't bother with any further military service. Good luck. |

THe French Foreign Legion is made up of FOREIGNERS. The only French that are supposed to be in the legion are it's officers so being from the US is no problem. The whole idea was that the French government could project military force when needed without sacrificing French nationals and drawing protests from the general population. |

Flat feet will be your biggest problem, it depends how flat they are... The Foreign Legion is considered a sort of SF so are very strict on the medical sides...
I would look to your own forces before considering fighting on the side of the French. Joining a different countries armed forces can cause a large amount of legal problems.. |
