Ive for some reason always wanted to be in the military, even though i know that there is no way i can go into it i want to know, is there specail things you have to do before you can be like put into it? Like other than thier training.

Special like how?
If you can sign your name, your in.
Pass a drug test.
Be an American citizen.
(even if your not, you can get your citizenship by joining)
Do better than a 32 on the ASVAB. Marines minimum requirement is a 32. That is well below average. If you can read and write, you can get better than a 32.
There are not a really crazy requirements. A few branches won't take GEDs anymore. They want people with Highschool diplomas. |

You don't list any reason why you can't join. If you are healthy and physically able, then you should be able to join. I recommend that everyone who is able should join. Go talk to a recruiter today. |

If you are planning on just being an enlisted soldier you just go in and talk to a recruiter answer questions, there is no kind of training required besides basic and ait training. I have attached a link that might help answer more of your questions.

It depends on what you want to do, normally you should just work on fitness and then when you pass all the tests you should get put into basic training then training for whatever job youve chosen e.g. Engineering, Infantry etc. |

not if your goin in as enlisted. officers have to have a certain amout of college |

Well check the websites for what branch of the military you want to go into. They will have requirements on what your weight should be etc. You have to go through basic training and from that point, depending on whether you have a college degree etc. will determine what your job in the military will be. Better yet, talk to a recruiter. Military has alot of benefits. |
