If you have not been to Iraq then you really have no way of knowing if the war is worth the money spent and blood spilt so shut the hell up.
I have been there. I spent 12 months there. Some of my friends didn't come home with me. I have sacrificed for this war more than most others and I still say we need to stay there. I have had Iraqi's cry as they held my hand and thanked me for overthrowing Saddam and helping them make a brighter future. I spoke with an Iraqi woman whose body is disfigured as a result of being tortured by men of Saddam's regime. She was tortured in front of her husband before they killed him because he was fighting against Saddam.
I don't know if you complainers have ever considered that we never would have won our revolutionary war and overthrown our British dictator if it had not been for outside help from a more financially and politically powerful country. (So what if it was France. Everyone has their good moments.)
Helping others who cannot help themselves is never a bad idea. We are doing the right thing in Iraq.
"He who stands for freedom stands with God." -GB Hinckley
If you are praying for our troops (and I hope you are whether you support their mission or not) don’t just pray for our troops to be safe. Pray that our troops will destroy their enemies and that the people of Iraq will unite so that together our troops and the Iraqi people will secure and stabilize Iraq and then it will be time to bring the troops home. |

There are no good reasons to pull out of Iraq. We need to stay there till the job's done. |

We must stay but change our plan
Split Iraq into three regions
Have the U.N. and delegates from the region agree on monetary funds
Iraq will be the richest nation in the world someday
Hold onto those dinars |

People are dying for nothing! There's your reason! If your son or daughter went over there and died for a war they believed in but didn't really know what it was about, wouldn't you want the war to end? I would. |

It would be better not to pull out of Iraq. But if you want a good reason I would say, if we were to pull out, it would be to rest our troops so that they can fight in a more threatening place like Iran or N. Korea.
This isn't to say we should pull out of Iraq, we shouldn't. But this is at least on argument why we might.
And then of course there is politics. Not a great reason, but if it happens, politics is why. |

I can't--sorry. the US shouldn't have gone there in the first place, but pulling out now will result in civil war. Now the US has to stay until they get their act together. |

Our chances of succeeding and building a productive society out of Iraq are nil.Bush is wasting his time,we should get out of Iraq and drop a big nuke to rid the world of this problem. |

cause it's not our country, and they don't want us there. I think that's a pretty good reason IMHO |

I did not agree on the war BUT we can't pull out of Iraq right now. You don't go to a country, take it over and then leave them on their own!!! That has happened in our history and it wasn't good. If we are going to leave those poor people now, they'll be in just as bad as shape as when Saddam was there. People.....it's not that simple!!! But no we should have left it alone to begin with and focused on terrorism and other issues. |

1=Because the people of Iraq don't want you in their country.
2=Because you claim 2 fight 4 peace n freedom in the world although you always do the opposite n enjoy oppressing others n who ever resists 2 be an American puppet or proxy.
3=Because you need peace 2 enjoy your free world n that's unlikely 2 happen as long as you keep your troops in Iraq n continue meddling in the affairs of the Muslim countries,imprisoning,torturing,humiliat... n killing Muslims. |

What I Say
 |
Because there is a NEO AMERICAN distortion of rights occurring in this country.
There is a difference between "defending yourself" and being a nation that brings harm and aggression to the people in a country like Iraq. I said HARM and AGGRESSION because logically the U.S. is not "defending itself" by creating a war in another country that too many people have accepted was turned into a theater for the war on terrorism. Iraq is not a "terrorist nation," nor will it ever be one because terrorists are throughout the entire world in many different cells. Is the U.S. at war with the whole world because of this proposed war strategy? The answer is YES, but the people who think it's their "right" to support war, to support killing civilians, to support wasting billions of U.S. dollars, to keep posting anti-lib hate messages, etc., are just distorting what their "rights" are.
Neo-American, elitist, militant conservatives know nothing about human rights. |

ONE good reason? Well let's forget about the complete lack of legitimacy - internationally or otherwise - to begin with; let's forget about the fact that the government LIED to the American people as to why they were going in there; let's forget about the fact that Bush, in his first election campaign, specifically promised to bring our troops back - not deploy MORE troops to MORE locations.
ONE GOOD REASON: WE HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING THERE!!! |
