hey is this a good choice for me?
ok soo i am thinking about going to military school and joining the army
i am only 13 right now soo i am still thinking
is tis a good choice for me and how much do u get paid and how long does it take to become a general
Also i want to become president of the united states(i no a little crazy dream) and is it easier to become president after becoming a general
Also i want to be rich soo does the army give u alot of money
Hey also is there better choice for me then the army like marines,airforce,navy,etc?
or my other dream was to try to go to u penn and become a buisness then president
wat is the better choice?

I think that its amazing that you have so many big dreams. Don't let anyone ruin them for you because people will try. You can't let them. What I would suggest is writing out your goals on paper. Then write out 5-10 different ways that you can go about achieving them. Once you have perfected your plan go for it.
People wouldn't build a shed without a blueprint then why would you go through your life without a plan. PLAN. PLAN. PLAN. and then succeed.
I would suggest reading books by dale carnegie. Leaders are readers. Read Think and Grow rich by carnegie to learn how to set goals. Reach multiple streams of income by robert allen, and the millionaire mind by ? something stanley? to learn about wealth creation.
Read The 7 habits of highly effective people to get your life together, and then read leadership books by steven Covey.
Work hard, and you will make it. |

Ask again when you are older and understand:
1. Only you will decide to join the military
2. No one joins the military to make it rich.
3. VERY FEW people EVER make it to even a Brigadier (one star) General...let alone a 4 star General.

It takes 25-30 years of active military service to be appointed a General in the military. The president is responsible for promoting generals. If you are interested in money, the military is not for you. A four-star general is the equivalent of a company CEO. A CEO makes millions a year while a general is capped at about 200,000 dollars a year. |
