Hardship separation from army reserve?

I submitted a packet and it was approved at company and battalion level. My hardship is that I've become a full time dad to newborn twins now six months and a three year old. My wife is full time employed. I requested separation to care for my children and because there is know one to care for them during a deployment. The packet was denied above the battalion level. What are the options I have now?

I have completed two tours in support of GWOT.

You need to file an appeal - not sure what the process is. i would get your chaplain involved. If it still doesn't go through contact your congressman or senator and see if they will take the case up for you.
