Has a Military Man let you down?

Nope, I am married happily to my military man. It is not the military's fault that someone let you down, it is the man's fault. I have a wonderful husband and I would not trade him for the world.

What kind of question is this?! All you are going to get is every negative possible. What about accountants, lawyers, doctors, constuction guys, etc. Every type of job has some men that have let down their women. That doesn't mean that they are all the same. Just because one restaraunt messes up my order doesn't make me think another franchise is going to do the same. It's the same as asking the men if a military woman has let them down? It's still a bad question.

Sorry if you had a bad experience in your relationship, but I still thank God that these men and women are rinsking their lives for others' freedoms! People are people. I'm sure you have let other's down in your past as well.

A Navy guy left me standing on the Quarter Deck of his ship holding our 'wedding rings' two days before our wedding...in the pouring rain...while he had another sailor tell me it was over. Couple of years later I met another Navy guy married him had kids and just celebrated 15 years of marriage. The first guy did me a favor because he wasn't half the man my husband is! (I was in the Navy too)

one did. But I've had two others come through for me at separate times in my life when I didn't think there was any way in the world it was possible. Its the guy - not the job. Though the job does give them some really nice uniforms to wear.

I agree with megj416! Many of them don't know what they want to do with their lives, so they join the military because they just want to 'shoot a gun' lol. Boy, do they face consequences in the end!!!

Yes, George Bush did. I would have expected any military man to at least be able to prove he was at a certain base during the time he said he was. So far no one can definitely place him at one. None of the other troops who were there at that reserve base in Alabama can recall him being there, and from what I gather, there is not one picture placing him there. Being a son of a senator at the time, I am sure that he would have been noticed.

Yes, alot of unstable men join the military because they don't know what else to do with their lives. I lived in a town full of them and found every one my friends or I knew cheated! (Disclaimer: I know they aren't all bad, I am just speaking about most)
