Hat do u do to quick ship with the air force?

my recruiter says you go to meps and if someone doesnt ship then you can take there spot, and you have to take that job. so monday im going to stay in the hotel and tuesday hopefully quick ship. does anyone have any experience with it? or know anyone who has done it.

your going to meps monday and you'll be coming back home after. quick ship doesn't mean you'll leave the day you go to meps the first time. It simply means while your in the Delayed Entry Program, if someone looses there slot, you can take it if you want that job. But, it can't just be any job. Only the jobs you qualify for. You can't fill a slot for a job that requires a 65 on the ASVAB if you scored a 50. Thats what quick ship means. And if no slots open up, then it's not really a quick ship. Your name simply goes on a list of other ppl that want to do quick ship. and if a slot opens you can take it if you want. |

just don't pick security forces or take and open general offer that's all i have to say. Good Luck |
