I was just wondering how it works. Did everything work out okay?

There were twin brothers in my BMT flight. They did the buddy system and it all worked well for them. They ended up being stationed in two different places, but they also chose two very different jobs that required to be stationed apart. It will work out for you if you get it all squared away with your recruiters. The Guard/ Reserve will allow you to perform drills/training at the same unit your entire enlistment. Either way is a great choice, and glad to see you wanting to join.

Twins I went to high school did this. When it came to the MOS though, one got security clearance for their job and one didn't and had to change MOSs. Now their duty stations are several states apart.
