As far as I know we never sawed off prisoners heads as Al Qaeda does. Nor Does America cut off woman's breasts or perform grotesque gynecological procedures on innocent women. We dont burn prisoners alive or skin them.
I'll tell you what, giving Taliban prisoners three square meals that are in accordance to Islamic food law/codes---My God now THATS some torture. Having a woman prison guard making you do the pyramid, ahhhhh the horror. I bet John Mc Cain can tell you what real torture is.
Your question is filled with lots of fluff. Narrow it down to manageable pieces. Look up Sharia Law is.

Pro torture. I wish they would dispense with the luvy-duvy rhetoric, because it is hypocritical, I admit. However, if hard intelligence is needed to save lives and needly quickly, then whatever methods necessary to gain that intelligence should be utilized. Our enemies are 100 times more vicious than we are and NEVER think twice about such issues. If you landed in their hands, pleading with them that you do not believe in torture is not going to help you. |

I am not disgusted, it is necessary in dealing with terrorists. Please don't forget what they are capable of. Yes it is a bit of a contradiction, but when thousands of lives are at stake, you must do EVERYTHING possible to gain information to save lives.
Stop crying as the people who are being tortured would kill you without a thought given the chance. Perhaps you don't understand the psychology of these people. They do not respond to words like 'please'. They are hell bent on destruction, I appreciate your concern, but unless you have an alternative, please don't be so critical. |

i dont care one bit...if i were to be captured on my next deployment do you think they'd follow the geneva convention? would they let me call my wife before they killed me? ABSOUTLEY NOT!!! they'd put me in an orange jump suit start chanting like a bunch of idiots and saw my head off. then they'd tie my body to the back of a pick up truck and drive around the streets and let everyone dismember me. does that sound fair to you? i say get them before they can get you. its better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6 |
