What did we expect? Them to help? No, regardless of what those who think they know what they are on about say, look at the second world war, cowards! They are a spineless race on the whole and will not get involved, ever!!!!!! Unless someone steals their cheese, in which case it's all out war, baguettes at the ready

Iraq was not sanctioned by the UN or NATO so they have no need to help there, its their choice after all.

How about showing some respect for those out there helping the US war on terror?

The French are in eastern Afghanistan and fighting insurgents there.

Ignore wolfie et al, yes they are there helping with operations in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom). It also has UN security council backing.
There are 4000 (only 2800 are in country) there now with more to go.

The French government wouldn't dare. The French working class are very militant and well organised and the state knew they'd be in big trouble if they tried to get on board with Bush and Blair's mad adventure out there.

2 million British people marched against the invasion and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan but the cowardly Labour government joined mad dog Bush anyway. It just goes to show that the British working class have to be far more militant if we are to stop the slaughter in the Middle East and Asia!

We're building an empire , are we not? It reminds the French of their old empire ( & what happened to it ) & they're distasted with it . The French care for liberty 7 couldn't have approved of any invasions.
