Hey all Ex-Army or Current what does MOS 11B518A18B ASI B4 mean?

the MOS doesnt look right looks too long or it looks like its the wrong formation i asked my friend who says he is the army and he said his mos is that

well there is no 11B5..... 18A 18B .....are different MOS's (SF at that) and I am doubting he is a B4 which is Sinper qualified.

At skill level 5 you become an 11Z MOS.

and most most as shown have 1 MOS 1 SQI and 1 ASI

11Z5VB4 is my mos meaning senior infantry sergeant, skill level 5, airborne ranger qualified, Sniper

There are numerous other ASI's that i have but its normal only to show one and usually based on the position which you are assigned to MTOE or TDA.

11B stands for 11 Bravo, that is Infantry, the rest is his specialty: sniper, light weaponry etc

D is correct.... Above you see mine...I am an Infantry(11B), Staff Sergeant(3), Ranger Qualified(SQI(3)) and have completed the Light Leaders Course(ASI(B2))..... Go read DA Pamphlet 611-21.
