Iran Can't invade Israel but can attack it with a missile.
Seeing as there are over 100,000 registered US voter living in Israel I can't see the US sitting back and doing nothing, on the other hand, Israel have their own nuclear weapons so I think a retaliatory attack would happen and Tehran would be levelled. |

Iran won't come close to Israel's borders. I don't think you realize how powerful the Israeli army is. They manhandled the entire Middle East for almost 40 years straight. |

First off, Iran doesn't have the force projection capability to invade Israel. They only have a brown-water navy and since Israel doesn't border the Arabian Gulf, there's no way Iran can get there that way. Iran's Air Force doesn't have the range to reach Israel since their aerial tankers never work and only a handful of their planes even have mid-air refueling capability. In order for Iran to go on the ground they'd either have to go through Iraq or Turkey. Going through Turkey means mobilizing through mountains...not a very bright move. We also have a substantial US presence in Iraq and Turkey they'd have to get through first. Their only other large-scale option is indescriminate theater ballistic missiles...which are highly inaccurate and highly unrealiable. If that would happen, Israel (which does have the ability to force project) would take care of their launch sites and nuclear facilities on their own. |

Iran would never invade Israel. Nuke them.....different story. What the USA would do depends on who the commander in chief is at the time. I would hope that we turn Iran into a glass factory. |
