How would one go about opening a day care center on base?

We're at camp lejeune, in NC. I've been told you don't "need" an Early Child Education degree, but I would plan on pursuing one in addition to my current degree. We will be living on base. What are the rules and regulations? I've been told you can not have animals of any kind, but my friend takes her daughter to a "registered on base child care provider" and she has two dogs. Everyone seems to think there are different requirements, does anyone know where I can find out legitimate info? Thank you.

You can Go To the Navy Marine corp Child Development center in your area . They will give you a packet and let you know when the next school starts . I think thst the school is only 1 week long . When I was going to do this I was allowed to keep my cat . I am not to sure about dogs b/c they cause a greater risk . If you have any more questions about it feel free to ask me . I don't live in NC, but I live on a base in MD and I would suggest you try searching the main site online for your base. Usually you can find out all kinds of stuff about the base where you live by checking out their website.
