How buff were you after boot camp?

How buff were you after boot camp?

for instance if you were like 150 going in how much did you gain when you were finished. or flip side of that if you were 250 going in how much did you lose

I was lazy going in. I weighed 168. My basic was 18 weeks (OSUT). By graduation I actually weighed 183 but was really defined. Not buff, but you can really see the muscles, more cut.

I could barely do the 13 push-ups required to get into Basic. At teh end, it was no problem doing 80 in 2 minutes

seriously, I went from running 2 miles in 20 minutes to running it in 12 min 30 seconds, I went from 20% body fat to 11% I didn't get buff but I did get pretty cut and my cardio was through the roof

I lost so much weight which was sacrificed for better running more pushups and situps... get some!

I dropped a ton of muscle and slimmed down

You don't lift weights all day you run and march

Buff hahaha
All you do in run and do pushups. No one gets buff they just get you skinny and get your cardio up so you dont tire out.
You get buff after boot camp when you hit the weights

Not very buff and nobody cares.

But the good news is you know how far you can push yourself and you get to blow stuff up.

Went in at 120...and stayed that way...

I went into Marine Boot Camp at age of 18, right out of High School, as a srawny 160 pounds and put on 15 pounds of muscle. Came out at 175. After Boot Camp you always have acess to a gym almost anywhere you go in the military. I continued lifting wieghts and got up to 230 pounds. The PT I had to do with me unit kept the fat off and the lifting I did on my own put the muscle on. After a couple of years in the Marines people did not recognize me anymore when I would go home on leave.

Regardless of your weight going in. Most likely you will have lost weight when you are done with Basic.

I came in around 170 and left around 155

Went in at 230. Left boot at 199.
