How can a mexican friend join the british army?

He´s been dating my sister for almost 1 year and now he wants to settle down and work in the army ;he´s fluent in german and spanish and also it´s a karate teacher , as far as I know he was in the Police corps in Mexico City.

He needs to have citizenship first as Mexico is not a commonwealth or former commonwealth country.

There is a period of residency required for a non commonwealth citizen before they can join the British forces

He would have to become a British citizen.

He can not join the British Army.

To join you need to hold a British passport or if from a Commonwealth country you need a minimum 4 year passport and 6 month Visa
