If a death just occured in the family talk to the chain of command. They more than likely might be left back but may not avoid the whole deployment.

A death in the immediate family will get emergency family leave. Simply request the leave.

Who's daughter just died ? Yours ? are you the service member ? Good God, What a trajedy. Get to the Red Cross and get the ball rolling. If it is a Servicemans daughter and not a step or in-law. It will be NO PROBLEM.

If you are saying your daughter has just passed, and you are suppose to be deployed, you need to speak to a career counselor and someone in your command about whats going on. They will hopefully be understanding and realized you are in no mental state to be trying to fight a war, or do a job anywhere else. They try not to send people right away due to these issues. You may however be sent after things have calmed down.
