How can you reinstate a licsense when the person is in active military duty?

my fiance is the air force and is at basic right now. i found out if he doesn't pay his fines off and gets his licsence reinstated then he is going to get kicked out. I tried calling his local DMV and no answer. is there any way we can reinstate it with out him being there?

if he gets kicked out for that he should think of joining the army. the only way you get kicked out is if you are convicted of murder. |

Usually when you pay off the fines, the hold is released on the license. You cannot go get his license on his behalf.
Just pay the fines and when he gets out of basic and tech school, he can go get his license as it won't be suspended anymore. |

Depending on the situation, I don't know that I would take care of it for him. He is a grown man and should have taken care of his own mess before he left.
It is not like he didn't know about the tickets. What did he think? If he left for basic they would all just disappear?
You could see if he gives you a power of attorney and see if it works. If he is in legal trouble he can still see JAG while in Basic and give you something to take to the court on his behalf. See if they will give him an extension.
I would get the money up front from him or his relatives because if you bail him out of this you can kiss your money good bye. Trust don't have nothing to do with it. |
