Isn't that discrimination against people with disabilities? People with ADD/ADHD are protected under ADA. Just wondering.

Requiring people to meet certain physical standards to get a job (in this case join the service) is NOT discrimination.

Changing your diet will NOT always alter ADHD or ADD. In some people ADHD has NOTHING to do with their diet or exercise level. Do NOT go off your meds without asking your doctor first doing so could have serious effects. Some meds used for ADHD have side effects when stopped without being withdrawn slowly.

You have to be relied on to pay attention and do your job. Your squads lives rely on it.

How is that discrimination. That's like saying sending children into war is discrimination. Children just like people with ADHD are unqualified and unfit for war.

Not being able to focus because you are chasing the "shiney thing" will get you or others killed. Clean up your diet, and get more exercise. Stop the medication, it has been proven to have no affect.

Stop eating foods that contain artificial coloring. After a few weeks you won't need the ADHD meds anymore.
