I know that on the APFT, you have to do push-ups, sit-ups, and the 2 mile run. I don't need to worry about the sit-ups. I can do around 30 push-ups until i get tired and dont go low enough. My fastest mile time was 7:29. And I'm 17 years old so I have to do 43 pushups, 50 situps, and the 2 mile under 16 minutes.

discipline and motivation, if you sit around and not do sets of push ups and sit ups or not run the 2miles every week at least than you are setting yourself up for failure, i know i failed my last APFTs(luckily it was a diagnostic) run by 50seconds for the National Guard because i thought i could run and did not worry about it, well im running now:(
as far as push ups i was bad at those to but if you do sets every day at least 20 a set you will get it no problem, same with sit ups, 2 minutes is a long time to get the minimum |

Do push ups, sit ups, and run. While you are training focus on your correct body posture and doing the rep correctly. When it comes time for the test do the move fast and explosive. Running is mental in my mind. Your mind will quit before your body will. Push yourself. |
