How do i apply or train to work as M.P or security gaurd in the military?

Sign up for the military. Talk to your recuiter and tell them you want to be an M.P. You still have to go through basic training and be enlisted. Good luck!

Military police is not a hard field to get into as long as you have a clean record (driving and criminal). Talk to a recruiter. Just make sure you get an in writing promise of career field (no matter what they tell you). You may have to wait some months for a school or position to open. Once you get in take advantage of all the schooling you can. By the way...if you don't want to go to Iraq this is NOT a good time to join up.

dude call the army, airforce. navy, r marine's recruiting office's. Tell them what u want and the Experienceu have. It sound like They'll be happy 2 hear from u. You tell them what u want And don't take anything u don't want u pull the string. with ur Experience one of them will hire u.

Sign up and get MP in your contract. they are hurting for MP's right now, you guys are the ones spending most of the time trying to control Iraq. I know, i was a medic that had to travel with MP's. Personally, i liked running with the infantry better, we didn't get blown up as much.

If you wanna be an MP first you have to join the army. MP are not civilian contracters. After that I have no idea

You would need to go to a recruiting station and take the test they give. I forgot what's its called, something like AS-FAB or ASVAB? It tests your strengths and weaknesses in different areas. Each area is given a score. After they have the results, they will go over with you the areas you are strongest in. You can go into the military police field if you score high enough. Also, to be in the military police, you can't not have any criminal offenses. They will do a full background check on you. Another field you can think about is military interrogation. They will give you all your options. Also, they can tell you what you can do in the civilian sector after you have served your term. A final note, in the Army, if you are an MP, you have to serve a minimum 5 yrs with 3 yrs reserve.

This is an easy one. Go to a recruiter and talk they will be glad to sign you up. Talking to one doesn't mean you have to sign. Then after you talk to one come back on ask questions from other M.P.s. You can't go wrong.

Tell them you want to be an MP. They need them badly -- especially for guarding detainee camps in Iraq. A friend of mine, a policeman in the naval reserves, got his orders recently for Camp Bucca.

I was in the Army for nine years. If you were to join the Army you would be guaranteed a job as a MP. You might find that you want something more. There are MP CID people which are like the FBI or the CIA.

All branches of military have military police. You have to talk to a recruiter, take the ASVAB, when it's time to select a career field go for MP. The Navy calls it's MP force Master-at-Arms (MA) right now the MA field is not a good one to get into. Advancement is poor, and MA's are being sent on deployments to combat areas. You could try for Riverine force, but that is a voluntary program. You could try for special forces.

I was an MP in the army in the 1970's, and let me advise you of this. You can talk things over with a recruiter, and request MP training, but whether you will actually get that training is something else. The needs of the army comes first. The army chose me to be an MP.
