I need to know my fathers war record ww2. he was RA and then paras.

Some good answers so far apart from Sally P who is one of our colonial cousins who think automatically that everyone is america. In addition to Records at Glasgow and the Veterans Organisation, you could also try regimental museums. The RA one is at Woolwich I believe and The airborne forces museum is in aldershot. |

Contact the Army Records Office in Glasgow. You will need proof of relationship but they will be happy to help. |

You need to look on the National Archive at Kew's website

For the first answer, RA stands for Royal Artillery and Paras is the Parachute Regiment, both British Army, Incidentally 1939/1940 is before the US Joined the war |
