How do military families fell about code pink picketing the Marine recruit center in Berkeley?

Code pink is synonymous with menopausal, pissed off, ignorant fools. Code Pink does not bother me anymore, those fools are not important enough to anger me.

That video will make you feel better, the Daily show portraying the Cody Pink, and Berkely for the fools they are.

As an active duty serviceman, I feel it is rude but that's about it. It is within their constitutional rights to do protests like that. The whole reason the US Military exists is to protect freedoms like that.

I could care less. They have the right to free speech. Americans have the right to free speech. I love being an American.

Code Pink picketing the Marine recruiting station is nothing like the Westboro Baptist (so-called) Church. Those people have crossed the line.

If you volunteer at the VA or the USO, you will have less time to be annoyed by things that do not affect you.

Now your child is helping ensure they have that right. Code Pink is a bunch of whackos but, that doesn't exclude them from the liberties which will be protected by our military should the need arise.

I'm a former marine. My son is a marine. I would feel that my service is being wasted if people don't retain their freedoms.

I don't believe Rev. Phelps and his followers have a right to protest at funerals. They are disrupting the families right to bury their relative in peace. This is much worse than code pink and they are actually tearing down the liberties of the families.

I am in the Army, a recruiter, and I have one of these Code Pink idiots in my family. I think over time many people have misinterpreted their liberties. I think the liberties were create to maintain a peaceful and supportive home front. Not to question the very forces that have fought for and extended these liberties. Once these people begin to question those who have earned those liberties they are in essence in violation of an unspoken rule and should have their liberties and rights as American taken away. It's like biting the hand that feeds you, it makes no sense and should come with certain consequences. I have, on many occasions, confronted my family member who follows these idiots and asked why. It's almost like they don't get it, they don't understand, and will never understand. In the past I have been yelled at, threatened, spit on (which pushed me over the edge and subsequently resulted in me getting a little physical with the guy, as a side note he cried like a little ***** as beat his *** in a mall), and someone tried to run me off the road once. All this and I live in the south where the military is highly respected. Fortunately we've never had a protest at our office but we have had the occasional loony show up to voice their opinion.

Did you see that the Berkeley hippies vandalized and broke the windows to the Marine Recruiting Office and threaten physical violence against the people that work there?
